As someone who does not drink, dance, or enjoy cupcakes in the shape of private parts, I can only pray that my bachlorette party will be a relaxing night with my best friends. As a life long movie lover, with many of my friends being the same, I can only imagine that we will spend the night eating sushi and watching all of the best wedding movies.
I recently did a search on the top wedding movies, yet it seems that all the lists out there are a bit outdated. Thus, I’ve compiled my own list of the top 10 best wedding movies that are sure to make you heartfelt and teary eyed.
Why I Liked It:
This film does an excellent job showing how couples can go through some difficult times, yet in the end still wind up loving each other more than they ever thought they could.
Why I Liked It:
Wonderfully refreshing movie which shows that even in the most ruthless divorce attorneys lies a hopeless romantic.
Why I Liked It:
This movie shows how much a man will go through just to be accepted by a woman’s family and be able to marry her. At first the family is ruthless, but he does not give up his determination and eventually wins their love as well. Hilarious and cute.
Why I Liked It:
At times the family may not fully appreciate the changes taking place in the bride to be’s life, yet in this twisted tale a mother and daughter swap lives for a day to gain new found respect and understanding for the marriage at hand. Sweet and charming.
Why I Liked It:
Shows how sometimes with love the timing can be off to where it seems impossible that someone could be the one, however in the end things just may fall in place after all.
Why I Liked It:
Very cute movie about how often times in-laws can have difficulties dealing with the marriage, but eventually they come around and see things the way the bride and groom do.
Why I Liked It:
Hilarious film about how men often times over look the love of their life until after it’s almost too late. Very fun and upbeat.
Why I Liked It:
This epic film shows what trials love can make a man go through just to be with the one he loves. Truly touching story with tons of comical scenes to get you rolling in laughter.
Why I Liked It:
This thriller brings you back to your childhood when everything seems better when you’re older. It shows that perhaps things were never truly greener on the other side, and it helps you appreciate what and who you have in life.
Why I Liked It:
This film is quite entertaining and refreshingly funny. It does a great job at showing how often times Mr. Right is nothing like we expected he would be, but in the end he still sweeps you off your feet just the same.

My girlfriend thinks your list is right on. We’ve been talking about getting engaged soon so she has weddings on her mind and you’ve gone and inspired her to rent these 10 movies for us to watch together. Thanks? Lol.
