Fall is one of my favorite seasons, due to the cool weather and the magnificent colors mother nature has to offer. Interestingly enough, Fall is one of the most popular wedding seasons, second only to summer. Perhaps one of the best reasons to love a fall wedding is that mother nature makes it easy and inexpensive to decorate. Sarah Dennis from Toast and Tables has tons of marvelous ways to take advantage of what the season has to offer.
Dried leaves have endless possibilities when it comes to decorating your special day. They could be Strewn about on the center table, or glued to some thick pieces of ribbon and used as table runners with the guest names on the leaves. Or perhaps you could make a wreath out of them or use them as embellishments on the seating cards.
Perhaps one of the most chic ideas I’ve seen is to use leaves as the bridesmaids bouquets with some crystal pieces mixed in. This truly looks unique, and as an added plus, they don’t have to be refrigerated or watered hourly. Another great idea for a fall wedding, is to replace the flower girl’s rose petals with bright leaves. These simple flower replacements will save tons of money, and it will look simply beautiful.
If there was not enough to love about a fall wedding, the bride’s bouquet has the ability of showcasing some of the most brilliant colors of the season. Many brides fear that a fall bouquet will only have muted tones and uncommon flowers, but in fact many fall bouquets have the most vibrant colors and exquisite flowers such as roses, orchids, and calla lilies in the brightest and most stunning hues you will have ever seen them in.

By incorporating the Fall foliage into a ceremony, a nice warm earthy romantic feeling follows. It also helps to create a strong unity throughout your ceremony, giving it a deep connection with the earth. It will be sure to catch everyone’s attention, while still saving you money for the honeymoon.
